Whether for the food, beverages, pharmaceutical or electronics sector - many sensitive manufacturing processes require high quality and absolutely clean compressed air. For these applications, Kaeser Compressors presents its comprehensive range of two-stage oil-free rotary screw compressors.

This range includes the CSG-2 series of oil-free rotary screw compressors, with drive powers up to 355 kW. Available air or water cooled, they are additionally available with an integrated compressed air dryer (37 - 200 kW). The CSG-2 T series with integrated “T” refrigeration air dryer models are suitable for applications that require pressure dew points to +3oC, and offer the end user a complete compressed air system package - wherever an efficient and dependable source of high quality and clean compressed air is required.

An integrated design, together with a generously dimensioned aluminium block heat exchanger, helps to ensure a minimal pressure loss of less than 0.1 bar. In addition, the energy saving scroll refrigeration compressor helps to achieve further compressed air energy savings.

Where pressure dew points below +3oC are required, the CSG-2 RD series dry compression rotary screw compressors with integrated “i.HOC” rotation dryer presents the perfect solution. The patented i.HOC rotation dryer from Kaeser can reliably and efficiently achieve pressure dew points as low as -30oC.

The i.HOC rotary dryer’s intelligent control ensures dew point stability even with fluctuating flow rates and at compressor partial load. When commissioned, the target pressure dew point is reached after just one rotation of the drum. As a result the end user obtains a reliable air dryer with maximum efficiency and lower energy costs.

Energy efficiency is further enhanced through the inclusion of an IE4 super premium efficiency drive motor, which complies with and exceeds prevailing New Zealand EECA regulations for 3 phase electric motors.

Industrie 4.0 ready
Industrie 4.0-ready, all CSG-2 series dry-running rotary screw compressors include the internal Sigma Control 2 controller. Aside from contributing to the overall dependability and efficiency of these impressive machines, the Sigma Control 2 allows the energy-saving Sigma Air Manager 4.0 master control system to be connected.

The advanced Sigma Air Manager 4.0 is a key technology that opens up the compressed air supply system to the advanced world of Industrie 4.0. As the central mastermind, it controls the entire compressed air system and, via the Internet of Things, it is responsible for streaming data to a centralised application. Intelligently networked compressed air systems are therefore able to reliably provide the necessary compressed air volumes and quality required to meet the needs of any application, with any potential issues in the compressed air network detected early on, so that specific service calls can be arranged before a fault even occurs.
