Kaeser at the Water NZ Conference & Expo 2020

Kaeser Compressors will once again be exhibiting at the annual Water NZ Conference & Expo. Visitors to stand 159 will be able to learn more about Kaeser Compressors’ extremely efficient and future orientated compressor and blower solutions which are ideally suited to water- and wastewater-treatment applications. This includes the new i.Comp Tower T series of all-in-one compressed air systems which are ideal wherever an oil free and compact compressed air system is required.

Introducing the i.Comp Tower T

Compressed air is required for many purposes within water- and wastewater-treatment applications. This includes low pressure blowers commonly found in for example the aeration process. Compressed air is often also required however for a number of plant site services such as valving, pneumatic actuation and sparging. A reliable and efficient supply of quality compressed air is critical to deliver these site services.

Kaeser recently launched the space-saving i.Comp 8 and 9 Tower T series reciprocating compressors, which feature a completely new compressed air supply concept.

The i.Comp Tower T series from Kaeser Compressors is an all-in-one compressed air station comprising a reciprocating compressor, refrigeration dryer and optional filters all within one robust housing and assembled on two compressed air receivers.

At the heart of the new i.Comp family is a new drive concept, which provides a multitude of advantages. It delivers the necessary power to cover the required compressed air demand with infinitely variable control. Needless to say, the reciprocating compressor itself is made in Germany and is manufactured to the highest industrial standards for which Kaeser is world renowned.

Moreover, i.Comp family reciprocating compressors are able to operate with 100 percent duty cycles. Intelligent solutions ensure exceptional filling performance and, as a result, outstanding efficiency.

With a volumetric flow rate of 412 to 580 l / min, the i.Comp Towers can be used for a wide range of applications and assure a constant pressure of up to 11 bar with absolute operational reliability.

Made from roto-moulded polyethylene to enable optimum corrosion- and impact-resistance, the attractive sound enclosure not only hides an advanced all-in-one compressed air station but also keeps sound levels to a minimum and helps retain system value.

Kaeser’s field-proven Sigma Control 2 controller allows infinitely variable pressure preselection, as well as connection to a master controller such as the Sigma Air Manager 4.0.

Since i.Comp Tower systems deliver oil-free compressed air, no oil enters the compressed air supply itself. This in turn eliminates the potential for accumulation of oil-contaminated condensate that would otherwise have to be carefully disposed of. In addition, there is no need for oil changes or oil inspection, which of course further reduces overall service costs. Dry-running compressors benefit from exceptionally low maintenance requirements. No oil changes are necessary and the direct drive is completely maintenance-free.

The roto-moulded PE enclosure is designed for easy opening and closing, ensuring full access to all components. Servicing is carried out from one side only, meaning that this compact powerhouse can be installed right up against the wall.

Visitors to stand 159 at the Water NZ Conference & Expo 2020 will be able to see the i.Comp Tower T first hand, as well as learn about other energy efficient and future orientated compressor and blower solutions that Kaeser has to offer. Join Kaeser at the Water NZ Conference & Expo 2020 on stand 159, 16-18 September at Claudelands, Hamilton.
