Introducing the i.Comp 8 & 9
Robust, compact and perfectly in tune with the operators needs, the i.Comp 8 and 9 impress with their brand new drive concept. These machines are powered by a speed controlled motor that always delivers the exact amount of compressed air actually required for the application at hand.
The single stage 100% oil-free compression reciprocating compressor can deliver up to 570 l/min at pressures up to 11 bar. Ideally suited to both trades and industrial applications or operation in workshops and laboratories. Their oil-free compression means they can also be used in the food-stuff industry.
i.Comp 8/9 units are exceptionally compact as well as powerful, they feature a specially developed high performance permanent magnet motor with integrated control electronics which allows them to run at a 90% efficiency rate. To ensure such levels of quality, Kaeser manufacturers every one of its reciprocating compressor blocks in house, using only the best quality materials available.

The i.Comp 8/9 are true endurance runners. The single stage 100 percent oil free compression reciprocating compressor can deliver up to 570 l/min at pressures up to 11 bar. The motor’s in-built frequency converter minimises switching operations and energy losses which means they are extremely efficient in all load phases.
- Economical operation:
The inclusion of the i.Comp CONTROL controller ensures reliable and economic operation. With the optionally available SIGMA CONTROL 2 controller (standard on the TOWER T models), the i.Comp 8/9 becomes network capable and can also be connected to the SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0 master controller.
- Very quiet:
With a maximum sound pressure level of 65.7 dB(A), the i.Comp 8/9 are extremely quiet. This is made possible by the smooth running of the compressor and the sound-insulating PE hood.
- Space saving installation:
Thanks to their compact design the i.Comp 8/9 features a footprint of less than 1 m². The PE enclosure has also been designed to open upwards meaning multiple units can be installed side by side to save space.
