The Mobilair 43 portable compressor's new PE enclosure houses a number of benefits not least its impressive performance characteristics.
Ensuring long-term value retention, the sleek M 43 from Kaeser now includes a new corrosion- and scratch-resistant polyethylene enclosure (PE), which features integrated wheelhouses.
This new enclosure contributes to the compressors low speed pressure levels. A 1:1 maintenance-free direct drive coupling links the ultra-quiet engine and large low speed Sigma Profile airend which, further ensures minimal sound levels of only 69 dB(A) (surface sound pressure level measured in accordance with ISO 3744), making the Mobilair 43 one of the quietest portable compressors in its class.
Powered by a four cylinder water-cooled Kubota turbo diesel engine, the Mobilair 43 provides an impressive free air delivery of 4.2 m3/min at 7 bar.
The Mobilair 43 is also highly energy efficient. Incorporating Kaeser's direct drive system eliminates the transmission losses associated with gear driven units. As a result more air is produced for less fuel. This also extends the service life of both the motor and the airend.
With an operational weight of less than 750 kg, the unit is compact and easily manoeuvrable. All metallic body components are either galvanised or powder coated to ensure long-term protection from the elements. Operation is made simple via a single control switch and user-friendly buttons. In addition, excellent component access greatly simplifies servicing and maintenance tasks.
A lightweight 20-metre hose reel is available as an optional extra. This accessory enables the compressed air line to be neatly stowed away and eliminates the possibility of it becoming a tripping hazard.
The Mobilair M 43 is manufactured at Kaeser's state-of-the-art production facility located in Coburg, Germany. Drive motor 30.1 kW, standard working pressure 7 bar and with free air delivery 4.2 m3/min.
